What are the advantages of dental veneers?
Dental veneers are natural looking and can, quite literally, transform looks. Because they are very thin and are held in place by a strong adhesive, very little tooth is lost in the preparation process . This is especially the case if our patients choose our hybrid-composite enamel range.
What are hybrid-composite veneers?
By using a newly launched veneer therapy a perfect smile can be created in a single dental session.
Componeer therapy uses hybrid-composite enamel product. Results are natural looking, hugely efficient and because the veneers are so thin, a high level of hard tooth substance can be preserved during preparation.
To prepare teeth for dental veneers, some of the shiny, outer enamel may be removed to make sure they can be bonded permanently in place. With our hybrid range of Componeer dental veneers the tooth loss is minimal and no other preparatory treatment is required. These veneers can be colour-keyed to existing teeth and fitted in a single appointment.
With the more traditional approach using enamel veneers, more of the shiny enamel surface of the tooth is removed and an impression will be taken so the laboratory technicians can make the prosthetic to face the tooth.
How long will it take?
An enamel veneer takes at least two visits. The Compeneer therapy can be achieved in a single appointment, in fact, a whole smile can be reconstructed in a single sitting. All work is carried out by North Street Dental and Implant Clinic, Dudley West Midlands.
How long will dental veneers last?
They should last for many years and both the hybrid composite and enamel veneers are incredibly hard wearing.
